Remington’s management team includes all of the experience and capability required to run this fast-growing enterprise. Combined, the six senior leaders have well over 200 years of business experience. Some of the skills and experiences of the senior team include deep experience in many forms of mining, construction, engineering, domestic and international business, finance and banking, and safety. The team works well together, driving the business and furthering the Remington culture of removing the business burdens of our customers.
President / Owner
Rodney has been in the construction and mining industries for 30+ years. Raised in a rural Utah farming family, Rodney has long had a love for and an understanding of the land and of heavy equipment and the possibilities that exist when machinery moves material. Rodney learned the materials moving industry from the ground up, starting as a teen, and has become proficient in not only operating a variety of implements but also in understanding how the material movement and mining processes can be optimized. His leadership and sales skills have also been the primary driver in Remington’s revenue growth.
COO
Jeff Larson joined Remington in early 2020 to run all field operations. He has been instrumental in improving the leadership team under him and in improving processes in equipment usage, man-management, and site logistics. Jeff earned a degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering in 1993 and has been busy in the industry since then. He held increasingly responsible positions at Orica for 11 years and Ledcor for 12 more, where he was the General Manager for U.S. Mining.
Chief Strategy Officer
Cory Ellsworth has been aligned with Remington since early 2020, having formed the Board of Advisors and now working as the lead for Strategy and Administration. Cory brings over 30 years of experience in high-tech finance, strategy, and operations and has worked for Cisco Systems, AT&T, and NCR in executive roles. He has been a CFO three different times and has also lived and worked in four countries outside the U.S. (Germany, Canada, Hong Kong, England). Cory is also an author and musical creator. Cory received an undergraduate degree from BYU and earned his Master’s degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina.

Scott Bostwick joined Remington as its CFO in April 2020. He has enjoyed a 16-year career in finance, starting in audit, then moving on to more responsible positions in finance. After earning his CPA in 2004, he spent the next nine years in auditing departments in government (Office of the Auditor General for the city of Phoenix) and commercial (Schmidt Westergard & Company). Upon leaving audit, he moved into business. Just prior to Remington, he was the CFO for a global company specializing in agricultural chemical additives.
Director of Safety
Born in Utah and raised on a farm, Mark learned the value of a hard day’s work and of getting the job done right. That ethic and passion has benefitted him throughout his career. It makes Mark the ideal person to run Remington’s Safety Department. Mark brings broad work experience, with decades spent in the food service and home restoration industries. At Remington, Mark started from the ground up, driving a haul truck and understanding the excavation and mining business. In addition to his college degree, Mark stays current on training, safety, and equipment issues.
Director of Sales
Kenny Kuhn is Rango’s Director of Sales. Kenny has enjoyed a long career in the heavy equipment industry and brings a wealth of mining experience. He studied Hydraulics at Lincoln Tech School and worked in the Fluid Power industry for 15 years. He also was the Western States manager for a major Hydraulic remanufacturing component company and managed a Hydraulic remanufacturing facility in Utah. Kenny was a regional dealer manager for a crane company. He also sold mining equipment for 15 years. Kenny enjoys family life, the mountains, golf, and hunting.
Area Manager
Over 35 years experience in the civil construction field with the last 25 years being in a senior management position specializing in the support of the Nevada mining industry. Choch has worked on every active mining property in Nevada over the past 30 years, managing multiple large projects such as contract mining, leach pads, tails dams, dewatering pipelines, structural concrete, and mine closures. Choch was the mine operations manager at Hycroft mining for 2.5 years bringing a different perspective back to contracting in the mining field.
